Codes and Classification Systems

Philippine Standard Commodity Classification
The database of all commodities on imports and exports used for tariff and statistical purposes. The 2004 PSCC is an integration of the ASEAN Harmonized Tariff Nomenclature based on the 2002 version of the Harmonized Commodity Description and Coding System (HS) prescribed by the World Customs Organization (WCO), and on the Standard International Trade Classification Rev. 3 issued by the United Nations Statistical Office in 1986. It consists of 21 sections, 99 chapters, 1,266 headings, and 13,290 items.

Philippine Central Product Classification (PCPC)
a database of standard classification of goods and services in the Philippines based on the full document of the 2002 PCPC. Contains correspondence with the UN Central Product Classification (UNCPC) Ver 1.1, International Standard Industrial Classification (ISIC) Rev 3.1, Harmonized Tariff Nomenclature of the Philippines (HSP) and the Philippine Standard Commodity Classification (PSCC) Rev. 3.

Philippine Standard Industrial Classification (PSIC)
a database of statistical classification of economic activities obtaining in the country based on the full document of the 1997 PSIC.

Philippine Standard Geographic Code (PSGC)
a comprehensive geographical classification which serves as a tool for ensuring the comparability of statistics relating to the geographical areas of the country; likewise contains statistics on voters.
