1. To provide technical supervision, direction and expert advice on the generation, analysis, and dissemination of seasonally adjusted time series;
2. To resolve issues on the generation and release of seasonally adjusted time series by concerned agencies;
3. To review the seasonally adjusted series produced by the concerned agencies in terms of consistency of the results of seasonal adjustment;
4. To formulate recommendations on the designation of seasonally adjusted series by concerned agencies; and
5. To assist the Statistical Research and Training Center in drawing up training programs on seasonal adjustment procedures and techniques, and analysis of seasonally adjusted series.

1. Advocacy activity on the importance of seasonally adjusting Philippine time series thru the preparation and presentation of the paper entitled Current Methodologies and Results of Seasonally Adjusting Selected Philippine Time Series during the 10th National Convention on Statistics (NCS) held on 1-2 October 2007
2. Tested for seasonality employment series of NSO and BLES
   • NSO: Employment rate, unemployment rate, underemployment rate, labor force participation rate, employed persons by major sector by number of hours worked
   • BLES: Percent share employed by major sector (i.e., AFF, Industry and Services)

1. Recommendations on the results of the tests conducted on employment series of NSO and BLES
2. Recommendations on the results of the seasonality tests to be conducted for the following data series during the year:
   • NSCB: Production sectors of the NAP
   • NSO: Number of hours worked by sector; 2000-based CPI Sub-groups (Philippines, NCR and areas outside NCR [AONCR])
   • BAS: Wholesale price of Swine and Retail Price of Pork in Metro Manila
