4. To recommend efficient workable schemes for the allocation of agency responsibilities in the production of labor, income, productivity, and other related statistics.

1. Recommendations/endorsement of the 1st batch of official concepts and definitions for statistical purposes for the labor and employment sector thru NSCB Resolution No. 14, Series of 2007, Approving and Adopting the Official Concepts and Definitions for Statistical Purposes for the Labor and Employment Sector
2. Comments on the different methodologies for generating annual employment and unemployment estimates
3. Comments on the proposed operational framework for counting overseas Filipinos

The IACLIPS is expected to present to the NSCB Executive Board the following:

1. Recommendations/endorsement on the proposed operational framework for counting overseas Filipinos
2. Recommendations/endorsement on the generation of annual employment and unemployment estimates
3. Recommendations/endorsement on the methodology for estimating informal sector

The IACLIPS is also expected to come up with the following:

1. Comments and recommendations on the implementation of programs/activities in the PSDP chapter on labor, income and productivity statistics
2. Clarification on the measurement of jobs versus employment in key employment-generating industries
